SCHULE Parboiling Process

Leading technology for paddy and brown rice
Our rice processing plants are the result of long-standing experience and permanent development. SCHULE, one of the leading manufacturers in the world, offer a parboiling process for paddy and brown rice. The advantages of our technology:
  • Very uniform results
  • The rice kernels are completely gelatinised, without white bellies
  • Ease of operation
After cleaning and classification, the rice is soaked batchwise in open tanks at a constant temperature and with a minimum water consumption according to the special SCHULE schedule. Subsequently, the rice is continuously steamed in the SCHULE steam cooker. Hot air pre-drying and gentle continuous drying complete the parboiling process.

Bespoke plants for your product
The plant can be flexibly adapted to the input product and the desired final product. We offer:
  • Batch systems with open tank without pressure
  • Batch systems with open tank with pressure
  • Continuous steam cooking systems in the vertical cooker
  • Steam cooking systems in the horizontal belt cooker
We dispose of a pilot plant for research and development. The plant is also available to our customers for tests with their products.
